An approach / Oleh Minaiev

A direction
worth building for.

A vision gives me a reason to choose one possibility and stay with it long enough to make an experience I am proud to show.

01

A reason to begin

I begin with an experience I want to bring into the world. What could a person feel, understand or become able to do? Why does that possibility matter enough for me to spend part of my life on it?

A dream becomes a strategic asset when it changes those decisions. It helps me choose what to pursue, what to leave out and which compromises would remove the reason for making the thing at all. The vision gives that dream a direction I can share with someone else.

02

An idea with room to grow

I call the intention that can keep generating meaningful forms a metaidea. It gives a product a place in a larger story. A feature can change, a technology can be replaced, and another product can carry the intention somewhere new.

For huhub, that intention is to expand people's ability to feel, learn and create something of their own, in contact with other people and the world. A vision makes that direction specific enough to act on. I ask what an experience contributes to it and what we would lose if we removed its central interaction.

03

A whole first experience

My starting point is a Minimum Viable Experience, or MVE: the smallest whole experience that carries the intention. I enter it as its first demanding user. I want satisfaction, delight and a reason to return. That response tells me whether I am willing to put my name on the work.

Consider a musical instrument. A first version could offer one voice and one expressive gesture. The relationship between touch and sound still needs to feel alive. I can leave out another mode while preserving the experience that made me want to build it.

An impressive prototype can reveal a possibility. A product has to hold together through actual use, including the awkward moments and failures. AI expands how much of that work I can carry; good work still takes time, judgement and care.

04

Let reality answer

My own response establishes an author's standard. Other people bring different needs, habits and circumstances. Their experience, evidence from use and willingness to pay require their own checks. I make limitations visible and let what happens change the work.

A living vision can learn. I stay responsible for the direction while remaining willing to discover a better form, revise an assumption or stop an experiment. That is how I want an idea to evolve into something people can make part of their lives.
