Begin with a human reason
I have no wish to spend my life competing with machines on the volume of analysis. My attention belongs to a body, a history and a finite life. Desire, intuition, taste and lived experience help me recognise what I care enough to create.
AI expands my ability to explore and act. I use reasoning and evidence to question my choices. The direction begins with an intention I can call my own, within circumstances I did not entirely choose. Authorship also means being willing to revise a choice when I discover its effects.
Make room for judgement
When I make a tool, I ask what the person using it becomes able to do. Can they recognise an error, change the direction, understand the limits and carry their own judgement into the result? Can they choose how much to delegate?
Automation can give someone more room to act. It also creates decisions about what stays visible, what needs confirmation and where a person can intervene. Those decisions belong inside the product vision. I want people to understand the part they are playing and retain meaningful ways to choose.
Attention, experience and consent
Poetry, music and instrument building give me another language for attention. Timing, touch and the sound of a phrase can change how I experience a moment. This practice shapes what I notice and the possibilities I want a product to open.
I call the meeting point of sound, technology and perception in my work technoshamanism. I approach it as a creative practice. The person taking part chooses whether and how to participate; their boundaries and ability to stop belong in the design of an immersive experience.
I can bring an intention to an experience and observe its effects. What another person feels or takes from it remains their own. I want to make room for discovery while staying honest about what I can promise.
Independent people, shared work
The same principle shapes the community I want to build. People bring dreams and ways of seeing that have a life of their own. Listening, disagreement and the freedom to decline or leave are part of creating together.
No one needs to adopt my worldview or disclose personal experiences to belong. A shared direction can leave room for distinct voices. My hope for huhub is that an encounter, a tool or something we make together leaves each person more able to create something of their own.
